Dubai has shown the inclination towards design art through its magnificent landscapes. Many local and international artists are prone towards Dubai due to the abundance of art galleries and museums. The city has become a canvas for visionary designs because of its evolving skyline and modern architectural wonders. Dubai's design portfolio now includes the Dubai Design District, a dedicated community dedicated exclusively to design, fashion and culture. At Dubai Design District there is much to explore a range of concept boutiques, art galleries and studios showcasing the work of some of the region's best fashion and interior designers. The district sets the latest fashion trends and attracts fashionistas from all over the city. This thriving community has helped artists find inspiration, explore new perspectives, and encourage them to turn the ordinary into extraordinary works.
Dubai Design District (D3) is a mixed-use project by the TECOM Group. The district consists of pop-up shops, restaurants, cafes, leisure facilities and nightlife. In addition to commercial buildings, the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DID) is also located here. It is part of the TECOM Free Zone Business Park and the Dubai Development Authority (DDA). The fact that the Dubai Design District (D3) precinct is modelled after neighbourhoods like the Miami Design District made it look even more utopian. Dubbed the world's next design and fashion capital, the city is close to Milan, London and New York.
Location
Dubai Design District is located 20-minute drive to Dubai International Airport. Moreover, the famous Palm Jumeirah and Deira are reachable within 20-30 minutes. The renowned landmark Dubai Miracle Garden is also 20 minutes away.
Nearby Areas
In the west of D3, Business Bay is emerging as Dubai's central business hub in a mixed-use neighbourhood that reflects the fast-paced lifestyle of Manhattan, New York City. Adjacent to downtown Dubai, a popular tourist destination in the city. To the north of the Dubai Design District is Zabeel, a large mixed-use area that includes Al Kifaf, Zabeel 1 and Zabeel 2. A popular waterfront destination with five footbridges and three networks: Water Network, Public Realm, and Green Network. This canal is an extension of Deira Creek and offers activities such as abra cruises and dhow cruises.
Art Heaven
It is only appropriate that the greatest art galleries in the area are housed there as well, since it is the area's leading creative hub. In addition to offering a venue for art gatherings, workshops, and training, the Sinyar Gallery, a recent addition to the neighbourhood, supports up-and-coming Emirati art and culture. Abstract and contemporary art is still available for purchase or rental at Art Hub, one of Dubai's original galleries. Another family-run gallery in Italy, Sconci Gallery features works of art from the seventeenth century onwards, both domestically and internationally.
