The project involves building a 1,500-meter two-lane bridge in each direction that connects Sheikh Zayed Road to Dubai Harbour. According to the direction of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and with oversight from His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, this initiative wants to strengthen Dubai's infrastructure to support its rapid urban expansion and demographic growth. The infrastructure project will greatly facilitate the access of cruise tourists to Dubai's main arterial road, resulting in faster travel times between the cruise terminal and the city's main attractions.
