Omniyat Real Estate Developer
In light of the suspension or cancellation of several projects, Omniyat has struggled to complete its most successful projects. Despite making a splash in the Dubai real estate development sector in 2005, Omniyat was on the verge of going completely out of business during the Global Financial Crisis. As opposed to giving up, Omniyat, on the other hand, modified its strategy and has since emerged as one of Dubai's leading real estate developers. The CEO of Omniyat, Mahdi Amjad, has expertly steered his company out of the recession and into Dubai's real estate market. Amjad's objective has been to capitalize on the demand for "off-plan" development and diversify into the hospitality industry.
The chairman and CEO of Omniyat, a luxury developer with headquarters in Dubai, disclosed that the company aims to begin development of new projects and buy assets in addition to increasing its real estate holdings by 50% to $15 billion over the course of the coming years. One of their most recognized projects is The Opus, a tower located in the renowned Burj Khalifa neighborhood that is easily recognized due to its unusual construction, which includes a cube-shaped structure with an amorphous hole in the center. Furthermore, the internal structure of the building is equally impressive. The late Zaha Hadid designed the mirrored glass framework, which houses a hotel, serviced apartments, restaurants, and offices. Omniyat additionally wrapped up a tall residential building called The Pad, which has a 6.5° lean. The developer's other notable projects are The Binary and Bayswater Tower.
